Karwar is a city, taluk and administrative center of Uttara Kannada district in the Indian state of Karnataka, which lies on the west coast of Southern India at the mouth of the Kali river. Karwar is a popular tourist destination and with a City Urban area of 27.9 km, it is the largest city in Uttara Kannada.
