Sagar, Madhya Pradesh
Sagar is a city in the state of Madhya Pradesh in central India. Situated on a spur of the Vindhya Range, 1,758 feet above sea-level. The city is around 172 kilometres northeast of state capital, Bhopal. Sagar has been selected as one of the hundred Indian cities to be developed as a smart city under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's flagship Smart Cities Mission and listed top safest city of India 2018.
