Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
It is a number of views of a page. Only one access a day is counted for a device. We try not to let the number be influenced by search engine access so it should only be the number of views by real visitors.
The database of phone numbers and comments is created by users themselves through the website.
Comments can be added by registered users anonymously as well. Just like any other forum, it is not possible to 100% ensure the credibility of the comments. Therefore we reserve the right to delete comments or block comments for a particular number 08866390522.
Every user can deactivate any comment until the moderators deal with it. Just click the Delete button in the menu found at each comment. The user is then redirected to a short form where they can explain to moderators why they believe the comment is harmful.
